Coming up this weekend, live from Las Vegas, Nevada, both Saturday and Sunday night, is WWE WrestleMania 42. Two nights of history being made in a showcase for the immortals. Are you ready for a few quick predictions? Let’s roll.

WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton.

Don’t forget to add Pat McAfee and Jelly Roll into the equation. Don’t forget the celebrities to help add story and context to the one match that doesn’t need it. I’m torn on this one, but my gut says Randy is getting number 15, and maybe Pat eats an RKO after the match.

Winner and NEW WWE Champion: Randy Orton.

WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan.

Vaquer has been an absolute failure with the title. Gold comes home to the Judgment Day.

Winner and NEW Women’s World Champion: Liv Morgan.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee vs. Becky Lynch.

Gold changes hands when the man comes around. Becky takes the title back home, and AJ goes back into wrestling retirement.

Winner and NEW WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion: Becky Lynch.

Seth Rollins vs. GUNTHER.

It’s personal now. Gunther wants a favor, and what the Ring General wants, he gets.

Winner: GUNTHER.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Lash Legend & Nia Jax vs. The Bellas vs. Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria.

I hope that nobody is expecting a good match here. It’s going to be an absolute disaster. Look for new champs with Bayley and Lyra.

Winners and NEW WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: Bayley & Lyra Valkyria.

WWE World Tag Team Champions Logan Paul & Austin Theory & iShowSpeed vs. The Usos & LA Knight.

How the mighty have fallen. YEET! A meaningless six-man against a YouTube star. YEAH! The Usos & LA Knight win. And we forget this ever happened. Woo woo woo – you know it.

Winners: The Usos & LA Knight.

Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu – Unsanctioned Match.

I had forgotten about this match. I’m sure that both Drew and Jacob are wishing that they could also say that. Drew has lost so many matches recently that one more won’t matter. Jacob wins.

Winner: Jacob Fatu.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns.

The old man versus the part-timer. It’ll be a good match. I’m going for CM Punk to retain his belt and continue to be the best (promo) in the world.

Winner and STILL World Champion: CM Punk.

WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill vs. Rhea Ripley.

Give the fans a happy moment. Mami is back.

Winner and NEW WWE Women’s Champion: Rhea Ripley.

WWE United States Champion Sami Zayn vs. Trick Williams.

I expect Carmello Hayes to be added to the match, most likely on SmackDown this upcoming Friday night, so it becomes a triple-threat match. And Trick pulls the trick that wins some gold.

Winner and NEW WWE United States Champion: Trick Williams.

Dominik Mysterio vs. The Demon Finn Balor.

Dirty Dom loses to the Demon. It really is just that simple.

Winner: The Demon Finn Balor.

Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi.

Oba takes the fight to Brock and dominates. The Beast uses twenty-five years of experience, plus the mind of his Advocate, to steal a dirty win. Brock wins, and this war continues.

Winner: Brock Lesnar.

Ladder Match: WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta vs. Rusev vs. Je’Von Evans vs. JD McDonagh vs. Dragon Lee vs. Rey Mysterio.

I would love to see Nick Aldis add Matt Cardona to this match just for the sake of nostalgia. It won’t happen, but a guy can hope, right? I’m pulling for JD McDonagh. Last year, Dom pulled off the upset. Let’s keep the Judgment Day streak alive.

Winner and NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion: JD McDonagh.

Rumored: Iyo Sky vs. Asuka.

This will probably end on RAW next week, but these two ladies deserve a spot at Mania. Make it happen, Triple H. And of course, Iyo wins.

Winner: Iyo Sky.

Rumored: Kit Wilson & The Miz versus Danhausen.

Kit made the challenge, so I expect we’ll see a spot. Miz & Kit confront Danhausen in the ring. And someone makes a save. Either R-Truth or someone else, maybe Stone Cold Steve Austin? He’s scheduled to be in Vegas for WWE this week. Austin clears the ring, Miz eats a stunner, Austin shares a Beerhausen with Danhausen, and we get a WrestleMania moment. Works for me.

Winners: The Fanhausens.

And there you go, with my thoughts and predictions. Let me know what you think. Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you at the matches.
