5 Questions

There was a time that I called this “Facebook Q&A”, but the times, they are a’changing and rather than answer any and every questions, I’m going to pick the best and most interesting of the best that I can find each and every week on my Facebook timeline. This is where you’ll get to know me a little bit better and I might even get to know myself a little better as well. Doesn’t that sound like fun? Let’s do this…

1. Pineapple on pizza – yay or nay?

My brother’s mini-me calls them “minions”, but definitely a yay. It’s an unique and pleasurable taste and I like it. When it comes to making a pizza, almost anything goes and that includes pineapples.

2. If you could have dinner with any four people, living or dead, who would it be?

Alice Cooper, Waylon Jennings, Joan Rivers and Jesus…

3. Dumbest thing you’ve ever done?

I only have to choose just one thing? There are so many things that I’ve done that fall under the subject of “stupid as hell” that I could write a book (and probably will one day.) Most of my really dumb decisions involve thinking with the wrong head and have names (Chris, Danny, James Pa, etc), but those problems had good points as well as bad and were learning experiences that helped mold me into the man I am today. I think I’ll go with a certain night back in August of 1997 when I decided to take a ride up to Southern Pines. That decision and the consequences have affected my life ever since and only recently have I been able to finally put it all behind me and move on.

4. What are the best and the worst jobs that you’ve ever held?

Best job was Dairy Mart. It was a roller coaster ride and full of ups and downs, but I had so many great experiences there and met so many great people and found a family that is still so near and dear to me even today, I have no regrets. As for worst, I’ll go with Kangaroo. I worked third shift there for nearly five years and it was like a war zone each and every night. I met some great people and made some fantastic friends so it wasn’t all bad, but the stories I could tell and the crap that I had to deal with nightly, I wouldn’t wish on anyone else.

5. What’s your hidden talent?

Ask your boyfriend. He knows. And if that’s not appropriate, I’ll go with singing. There was a time that I had a voice. I don’t have much of one left anymore, but twenty-five years ago or so, this boy could belt ’em out with the best of them.

And that’s all folks. Questions, comments and anything else is welcome. Let me know what you think and give me some feedback. Let’s talk. I’ll be back and holler at you later. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Ubuntu!
