Here we go.  Let’s do this.

If you could create a Marvel version of the Suicide Squad, who would be on the team?

I guess as the head of the group, in the “Amanda Waller” role, I’d have Dr. Valerie Cooper. As the former liason for Freedom Force and X-Factor, she would be the natural pick to lead group of criminals turned heroes, which is pretty much all Freedom Force was anyways. Having Mystique and Destiny as part of the team, along with Sabretooth makes sense so I’ll stick with that. I’d through in Eric Simon Payne, aka Devil Slayer as the former assassin seeking redemption to keep the rest of the team in line. An old Iron Man foe named “The Belladonna” has a lot of science skills and would be a good character to use. Molten Man, another reformed former Spiderman foe, would work well in a group like this too. Phillip Masters, aka “The Puppet Master” could be an effective part of such a team and to round things out, how about former Spiderman / Fantastic Four foe turned Avenger turned mercenary, The Sandman. And there you go.

Thanos versus Darkseid – who wins?

If Thanos has access to his weapons and maybe the Infinity Gauntlet, he could take Darkseid out, but in a simple knock down, drag out fight with nothing but themselves and the powers that they themselves possess, I think Darkseid and his “omega blasts” would give him the edge and a hard fought victory in the end.

Would you be interested in seeing Alpha Flight as part of the MCU?

A group of heroes gathered and controlled by the powers-that-be in the Canadian Government is just a natural for a movie and would make a great fit as part of the MCU. And the diversity of the members of Alpha Flight, with Heather Hudson, Vindicator, Shaman, Marrina, Sasquatch, Snowbird, Puck, Madison Jefferies, The Purple Girl, Aurora and Northstar among others, is incredible, especially when the different personalities involved are factored in. How they’re not already part of the MCU is the question and what’s taking Disney so long to incorporate them into the shared Marvel Universe?

Avengers: Endgame. How do you think the movie ends?

Thanos is defeated, the Universe is restored to as it was before the snap, only a few who were at the final battle remember anything even happened and we get a big reboot to start the MCU anew.

Is Loki really dead in the MCU?

He’s part of a new show that will be part of the upcoming Marvel Streaming Service so with that in mind, I would say no. After all, he is Loki right? And Loki never truly dies.

Who would be on your ideal version of The Avengers?

For the comics, if I was in control of who was part of the team and writer or editor for the series, my ideal dream team would be The Wasp as Chairman, with a team of She-Hulk, Black Knight, Tigra, Quicksilver, Dr. Druid, Hawkeye & The Vision.

Who would be on your ideal version of The X-Men?

For the comics, if I was the writer or editor, my “dream team” of active X-Men living at the Mansion would be Storm, The Beast, Iceman, Psylocke, Rogue, Gambit, Kitty Pryde & Wolverine.

And there you go. Any thoughts, comments or questions, drop me a line and give me a shout. Until the next time, have a great one and take care. See you later, gators.
