Tossing Salt Presents:
Ultimate Wrestling Q&A
Alicia Fox, Matt Hardy, Darren Young & More
January 5, 2019
It’s the middle of the night, 2:15am to be exact, and I’m so damn bored. I want to just drink a few beers, chill with a special friend and just relax for a bit. But instead, I’ll just sit here, hold back the tears and answer a few questions about the world’s greatest sport. Then it’s off to bed… or to the college to sit by the lake. I haven’t decided yet. But enough of my rambling. The Cheese sent me these questions last night. And I’m answering them now. And away we go.
Are you glad to see the returns of Sheamus, The Usos and John Morrison to the WWE?
I’m glad to see Sheamus back. He’s a solid performer and maybe he and Cesaro can get back together and be relevant again. Morrison, I would have preferred to see be held off until the Royal Rumble where he could have been used as a surprise. And the Usos, I knew it was just a matter of time till they were back and having them come out to save their cousin, Roman Reigns, that actually makes sense. All in all, I’m glad to see all of them back.
Sami Zayn is already acting as the “Advisor” for Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura. Should they add Shemus to the mix and call this group the “House of Zayn”?
I love factions and the foursome of Shinsuke, Cesaro, Sheamus and Mojo Rawley, who Sami has also been acting as an advisor for, all together as a unit, that would be very cool to me.
Is Alicia Fox still part of the WWE?
Her profile has been moved to the Alumni section, but she is still under contract to WWE. She is currently getting treatment for problems with alcohol.
Would you like to see Matt Hardy go to AEW?
It seems as if Matt and WWE’s partnership may soon be coming to an end, but if it was to mean Matt would be a part of AEW, I think he would do very well there. It would be, as Matt often says, “Wonderful!”.
Now that Fandango is out of action again with an injury, what should WWE do next with Tyler Breeze?
I would suggest that Breeze remains in NXT where he can help develop the younger talent and maybe have him form a partnership with another extremely flamboyant character in NXT, the Velveteen Dream. Breezy Dreams – that has a good ring to it and could be a good way to help develop Dream even more and prepare him for the main roster.
Darren Young has indicated that he’d like to return to WWE. Should WWE bring him back and give him another shot?
If there is a place for Young and WWE thinks that he can be useful to the roster and be a strong part of WWE, then bring him back. Absolutely. And if he’s just going to be ignored and wasted as he was before, leave him be. I’d like to see Young back in WWE and maybe re-team with some of his old Nexus partners such as Heath Slater. Young is a good talent and having him back as part of the roster couldn’t hurt.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Any comments, thoughts or questions, drop me a line and let’s talk. Until the next time, stay safe and I’ll see you at the matches.
