Another morning and it’s way too early to be awake, but I have an appointment in a little while to go to so what can a guy do? I woke up and these lovely questions were waiting for me from Mike Z. I think he has too much time on his hands and loves fantasy booking. Just kidding Mike. I appreciate the questions. Now let’s see if I can provide a few answers. Let’s do this…

Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler & Asuka versus Three Count. Who wins?

Nothing against Three Count (Shane Helms, Shannon Moore & Evan Karagias), but in this “match”, they’re up against Ronda Rousey, MMA legend, Shayna Baszler, another legit superstar from the world of MMA, and Asuka who trained originally with men, has wrestled men many times and is arguably the most awesome performer in WWE right now, bar none. The men would get their asses kicked… period!

Who portrays the character of a “beer-drinking redneck” best? Steve Austin, James Storm, Hangman Adam Page or The Sandman?

The Sandman isn’t so much a redneck, but just a drunk. Adam Page is trying, but he comes across as a poor man’s Austin. James Storm is awesome as well, but James, sorry about your damn luck. Steve Austin does it best and that’s the bottom line because I just said so.

Thoughts and memories of Lord Alfred Hayes?

Lord Hayes is most remembered as the second banana for Vince McMahon back in the ’80s and pretty much a goof, but there is so much more. An accomplished wrestler and manager, Hayes was top of the line in both fields and was a fantastic talker too. He had a great career all around the world and was successful everywhere he went. I got to see him wrestle live one time, teaming with his “Russians”, Nikolai Volkoff and Chris Markoff against Johnny Weaver, Jay Youngblood and Jimmy Valiant. It was a weird match and Hayes played the cowardly manager until he was forced to fight Weaver, but it was a fun match and he could really perform and go in that ring when he wanted. A true legend and iconic figure in the world of pro wrestling. RIP Sir. You are missed.

Big Show versus Crusher Blackwell. Who wins?

Big Show is bigger, but Blackwell was heavier and moved around the ring with speed and agility that men his size should never have. It would have been an interesting encounter and far better than a match between two big men should ever be. Blackwell would take the fight to Show and give him a lesson in old-school ‘rasslin’, but at the end of the night, Show would take home the win.

Who would you consider the best tag teams of the 70s, 80s, 90s, First decade of 2000, 2nd decade of 2000, and today. If these six teams that you picked were to compete in an Elimination Chamber match, who would win?

First, let’s determine the tag teams competing. For the 70s, I’ll go with the Anderson Brothers, Ole & Gene. For the 80s, I’m going with Steamboat & Youngblood. For the 90s, it’s a tough call, but Bobby & Stan, the Midnight Express. For the first decade of the 21rst century, how about Harlem Heat. For the past ten years, we’ll go with the Usos. And for today, The Revival. So the match is The Andersons versus RickSteamboat & Jay Youngblood versus The Midnight Express versus Harlem Heat versus The Usos versus The Revival in an Elimination Chamber match. Damn, what a match this would be. And I think that the final two teams would be Ole & Gene and The Revival. Let’s give the Revival the win here because they definitely would deserve it.

Best NWA Champion versus Best WCW Champion versus Best WWF Champion versus Best WWE Champion versus Best ECW Champion versus Random Wrestler of your choice. Who would you choose? And if these six fought in an Elimination Chamber match, who would win?

For NWA, it would be Harley Race. For WCW, it’s Ric Flair. WWF Champion has to be Hulk Hogan. WWE Champion would be John Cena. For ECW, my pick is Shane Douglas. And for my random guy, I’m putting CM Punk into the final spot. And as for the Elimination Chamber match, it would come down to Cena and Race. John Cena wins.

Best AWA Women’s Champion versus Best WWE Women’s Champion versus Best WCW Women’s Champion versus Best WWE Diva’s Champion
versus Best Knockout’s Champion versus a legend of your choice in an Elimination Chamber match. Who would be your picks and who would win the match?

For the AWA Champion, it would be Sherri Martel. For the WWE, I’m going with Asuka. For WCW, I guess Madusa would be the representative. Diva Champion has to be Trish Stratus. To represent the Knockouts, let’s go with Gail Kim. And for my option, I’ll go with Lisa Marie Varon, aka Victoria / Tara. This would be a fun match, but I don’t think that, as great as they are/were, Sherri, Madusa or Trish would do well in a match like this. It’d come down to Gail Kim and Asuka and for the final pin and win, that honor would belong to the Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka.

And there you go. My thanks for the questions. This one was fun. Any thoughts, questions or comments, drop me a line and give me a shout. It’s time now to finish getting ready to hit the road for my appointment. Rockingham, here I come. *Uugh!* Take care, stay safe and don’t go getting any Coronavirus. Have a great day and I’ll see you on the flip side.
