Tossing Salt Presents:
Ultimate Wrestling Q&A
Lana, Edge vs Orton, Undertaker & More
June 24, 2020
It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Happy Wednesday, aka Hump Day! Let’s do this…
What are your thoughts on Lana as the new manager for Natayla?
I guess they needed to find something for Lana to do and Natayla needed a bit of repackaging so it works for me. I’m just hoping that this allows Lana to be a real manager, kind of in the Zelina Vega type of mode, instead of just being worthless eye candy as she’s been used so far.
Who would you like to see join Lashley as part of MVP’s stable?
We already have Lashley and it looks as if Apollo Crews and maybe Shelton Benjamin may end up as part of MVP’s posse as well. What is this? A 2020 version of the Nation of Domination? I’d like to see Shelton have a good tag team partner and get back to what he once was with Charlie Haas so many years ago. Haas isn’t available, but he and Gable were good so why not have “Not Shorty G” Chad Gable come over to RAW and join the crew? Or if they’re sticking to strictly African-American wrestlers, which seems a bit racist to me, how about Cedric Alexander?
Where do you think the Edge versus Randy Orton feud will end up next?
Edge can’t wrestle right now so we’re going to be in a holding pattern for a bit until he’s able to return. I expect to see Randy doing the “Legend Killer” gimmick and taking out big name after big name until Edge finally returns for the big blow-off match. I’d love to see, maybe at one of the Saudi shows, a match with Edge and Christian versus Randy and Ric Flair. I know Christian and Flair aren’t able to “wrestle”, but a few punches or chops here and there and lots of smoke and mirrors and it could be done. I hope that’s what we’re aiming for in the long run. Keep the fingers crossed.
Are you excited to see The Big Show back in WWE?
Asuka versus Madusa. Who wins?
Madusa was good for her time, but Asuka is so much more, I’d match her up against any woman and most men and give her the edge. The Empress would take the win.
Do you think the Undertaker is retired from the ring for good?
If you’ll notice, The Undertaker has never said he’s “retired”. He just thinks he’s had his last match, but that leaves it open for speculation. If Vince asks and the money and match are right, I think we may get one or two more in-ring appearances by Undertaker before all is said and done. It won’t be soon and the planets would all have to align just right, but no one ever really “retires” from pro wrestling. He’ll be back.
