Tossing Salt Presents:
A Day Of Dougie:
Live Streaming, ANTIFA, Bills & More
August 13, 2020
Happy Thursday and welcome to a very special edition of “A Day Of Dougie?”. And “why is it special”, you ask? Because I actually have an idea, for a change, of what I’m going to write about. I have notes, literally. For the past several days while at work, selling fine spirits to the masses, I’ve been making notations about what has popped into my head that I felt would be interesting to write about for the site. And now, I’m going to go through these notes, tackle each topic as it comes, and just do a free-for-all rant and ramble of epic proportions. It helps clear up the clutter on my desk and covers a lot of territory at the same time. And it’s fun reading for both you and I? Don’t believe me? Read it and see. And now, without any further delays, let’s get busy and do this. It’s a Day of Dougie and away we go.
I made a note to check about live streaming on my site. And guess what? It can be done. Will I actually do it though? Given my anxiety about being on camera, doing audio and video spots, and sounding like a countrified hick homo-redneck, I seriously doubt it. But then again, never say never. I have access to plenty of alcohol and with many shots of liquor comes many bad decisions of all types. I can look at my history of affairs, romances, and one-night stands and see proof of that. But I now know that going live, be it here or on Facebook or MeetMe, is an option available for me if I should decide to do so. The more you know.
Have you ever noticed that ANTIFA and BLM and their “peaceful protests” always take place in the big cities run by liberal government officials and where the people are pretty much already whipped? Why don’t we see these groups going to Sturgis, SD where the bike rally is taking place? Or coming to the deep south where rednecks rule? Maybe because they know they’d get their asses whipped. Try to vandalize a business and get a bullet for your troubles. They realize that the typical southern white male will sit in a tree-stand for hours at a time looking for the opportunity to shoot something. I’d match any group of rednecks out looking for a party on a Saturday night against any ANTIFA mob anytime. Give them some beer and a scream of “Yee-Hah” and cut the good old boys loose and the cowardly mobs of “peaceful protesters” wouldn’t stand a chance. Let them stay in Chicago, New York, Portland, and Minneapolis. They come to the Carolinas or Tennesee or Texas, they’ll see what real “street justice” is all about. Freakin’ cowardly idiots. Just saying.
I got them and this morning, I paid many of them. Just one more and I’m done for the month. And then it’s time to start again. Yay!
This note says to “Do A Review” of Butcher Whiskey. It’s a corn whiskey that we have one bottle left of at the store. It’s been there since before I even started working at the place, six years ago, and I’m intrigued. I looked it up and it’s a North Carolina product, but the thing is, they don’t make it anymore. Well, it’s not listed in our state anyhow, and when I tried to find it online, no luck there either. I may just end up buying the bottle and trying it just to get it off the shelf. I’m tired of looking at it and even my sign I made to advertise, a picture of Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre isn’t helping. It’s overpriced at $25.15 for a fifth, but as I said, my curiosity has me wanting to take the plunge and check it out. I’m not sure how this will turn out, but if anyone here in Laurinburg wants to split a fifth of Butcher with me and do some taste-testing, just let me know.
The Bertha Butt Boogie…
I saw one of the Butt Sisters yesterday at the store. They live!
And the rest of my notes are about a possible project I was approached about yesterday. No details as of yet, but if it does happen, it will be very intriguing and will change the world as we know it. Okay, maybe not, but it will be a major happening. Film at 11.
I guess I’ll close this up for now. It’s not as long as I was expecting, but sometimes, less is more. And besides, I just got a message on Grindr. This looks… interesting. So take care and I’ll see you next time. Questions, comments, or thoughts, drop me a line, and let’s chat. I’m here at the site, at Doug28352@yahoo.com for my e-mail, or on Twitter at @Doug28352. Stay safe and watch out for the crazies. I’ll see you on the flip side.
