AEW All Out 2020
Thoughts & Predictions

Coming up on Saturday on pay-per-view is AEW All Out 2020, airing from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. That means it’s time to break out the Crystal Ball, don the Sister Cleo outfit, and get all psychic and shit. It’s prediction time. Let’s do this…
AEW Champion Jon Moxley vs. MJF.
Was that an awesome beatdown by MJF on Moxley a few days ago or what? I really, really want MJF to defy the odds and become the new (and youngest ever) AEW Champion. I just don’t like or get Moxley. I didn’t like him much in WWE and I don’t like him much now. He’s a good character and wrestler, but just not my taste. MJF is still undefeated in singles action too, by the way. Not pinned or submitted yet so far as I can recall. So does AEW strap the rocket to MJF and put the strap on him or do we get a non-finish or even worse, the end of the streak, to give Mox more kudos and time as the man of AEW? I think the money will be in having Mox chase the belt and letting MJF take over as the top dog for a bit.
Winner and NEW AEW Champion (because he’s better than you): MJF
AEW Tag Team Champions Kenny Omega & Hangman Page vs. FTR with Tully Blanchard.
Shades of WCW Saturday Night and the big turn as we see Hangman Page follow in the footsteps of the great Barry Windham and do the turn on his partner, Omega, aka “Luger 2020”. New champions and the start of a new Horsemen like faction for AEW.
Winners and NEW AEW Tag Team Champions: FTR w/ Tully Blanchard
AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida vs. NWA Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa.
Too bad this isn’t title versus title. One thing for sure though. There won’t be a clean finish here. Billy Corgan isn’t going to let his NWA Women’s Champion take a clean pin and loss in an AEW ring. Either it will be a draw, a double-disqualification, or a double count-out. But there won’t be a decisive winner and loser here. Just a great match that leaves us wanting more.
No Contest: Shida retains her title.
Mimosa Mayhem: Chris Jericho vs. Orange Cassidy.
Jericho should win the match, but there is no way that he’s not going into the big batch of brew. The way to win here is by pinfall, submission, or tossing your opponent into the container of Mimosa. So Jericho manages to get the pin and victory and then afterward, while Jericho celebrates, Orange takes him by surprise and Jericho takes a bath. Jericho wins the match and Cassidy wins the moment that everyone remembers. Everyone comes out strong.
Winner: Chris Jericho
21 Man Casino Battle Royal.
I don’t know who all is participating, but I assume it will be the usual assortment of AEW talent not participating in a match, mixed with colorful characters from all across the world of Indy wrestling who are just colorful enough to catch Tony Khan’s eye or are friends with the Bucks & Omega. I’ll pick Brian Cage to win. He needs a strong victory after the past few months.
Winner: Brian Cage
AEW TNT Champion Brodie Lee & Colt Cabana & Evil Uno & Stu Grayson vs. The Natural Nightmares & Scorpio Sky & Matt Cardona
This should be Matt Cordona’s breakout moment for AEW. Either he captures the victory for his team or we see Matt turn heel and layout each of his teammates to join the Dark Order. I’ll keep it positive here and Matt will look great and we’ll see the good guys take one to that pay window. Woo woo woo, you know it!
Winners: The Natural Nightmares, Scorpio Sky & Matt Cardona
.
Young Bucks vs. Jurassic Express.
I like the Express and even Marko has grown on me, but let’s don’t forget who the EVP’s are. The Bucks win with the super-kicks.
Winners: The Young Bucks
The Buy-In: Big Swole vs. Dr. Britt Baker in a Tooth and Nail Match.
This will be AEW’s attempt to do a cinematic match. WWE gives us the Boneyard Match and the Swamp Fight and AEW gives us this. Oy vey! I don’t really care one way or the other, but Dr. Britt Baker is a legit dentist and I don’t like dentists so she has to lose here.
Winner: Big Swole
Broken Rules Match
Matt Hardy versus Sammy Guevera
Sammy and Matt are even with the chair shots and the busted open heads. Who wins the rubber match? I’ve watched most of Matt’s videos since the debut of the Broken One and I’ve caught up now with most of Sammy’s vlogs. I can’t see an upside for Matt winning. Sammy is the future of AEW and while he can take a loss, he shouldn’t have to. Matt will be DELETED! And Sammy gets to have a little bit of the bubbly with his Inner Circle teammates.
Winner: Sammy Guevera
And I guess that’s it. My thanks for reading.
