Good morning and welcome to the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. It’s Saturday and you know what that means? Absolutely nothing except for the weekend is here. Yay for that. Let’s do the Q&A.

Joey Ryan has filed a $10,000,000 “breach of contract” lawsuit against Impact Wrestling. Thoughts?

Right now, Joey Ryan is a desperate man trying to get his career back or at least get some compensation for everything he’s lost in the past few months, that being everything. Joey is throwing out lawsuit after lawsuit, and to be honest, I don’t blame him. What has he got to lose? The man was on top of the world and in a matter of days, his entire career is over. If the allegations are false as he claims, he has every right to lash out. Impact Wrestling didn’t bother to investigate or give Ryan time to explain or defend himself and terminated his contract. So Joey is doing what he had to do.

Thoughts and memories of “Golden Boy” Chick Donavan?

I remember Donavan from the mid-to-late ’80s and Georgia Championship Wrestling. He was a jobber to the stars, but always had good matches and was popular with the fans. I think he may have used the nickname “Nature Boy” a time or two, but “Golden Boy” suited him better. He had more success in Memphis and Alabama as a nearly-top guy. My thoughts on Donavanwere that he was entertaining, good in the ring, and was always on the verge of breaking out to be a bigger name, but never quite made it. A staple of GCW in the ’80s.

Does William Regal belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

Absolutely. It’s not if, but just when. He’s one person I can say with absolute certainty that will one day wear that ring upon his finger.

Paul Heyman recently hinted that Ronda Rousey may have signed a contract extension and in that same interview, said Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do. So how is this for a faction? Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and Ronda Rousey, all managed by Paul Heyman?

Roman as the Universal Champion. Brock as the WWE Champion? Ronda holding one of the Women’s Championship titles? And all under the watchful eye of Mr. Heyman? Works for me. It wouldn’t last long before Brock and Roman started having issues, but for the time it lasts, it would be incredible to see.

Goldberg recently teased a WWE return on Instagram. Would you like to see Goldberg back?

No, not really. I wasn’t a Goldberg fan in WCW when he was actually worth watching and I’m not a Goldberg fan now that he’s older and even worse in the ring. Goldberg needs to stay home and make movies and play with his kids. Leave the wrestling to people who actually matter.

RAW Underground is no more. Good thing or bad?

I understand why WWE tried it, but it never caught on and didn’t make sense from a wrestling standpoint. It’s no big loss here.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Any comments, thoughts, or questions you’d like to see answered in a future column, give me a shout and let me know. Don’t forget to support your local Independent Wrestling companies and wrestlers. I’ll see you at the matches.
