Ultimate Wrestling Q&A
Jon Moxley, Jake Hager, Riddle & More
November 3, 2020

It’s Election Day here in the USA. Go vote! But first, read this. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. And away we go.

AEW is teasing a big surprise at Full Gear. Who do you think it will be?

The names I keep hearing are CM Punk and Sting. CM Punk isn’t all that likely. Sting though? His WWE Legend’s contract is over and they removed all of his merchandise from their website? I could see this one happening. But truthfully, I think it will be Aiden English ready to reunite with Miro and introduce the world to “Miro Day!”.

Do you think Moxley will be champion going into 2021?

We have less than two months to go so I think Moxley as the AEW Champion is a very strong possibility. I’ll say yes.

Should AEW bring back Matt Cardona?

I would say yes since I’m a big fan of the former Zack Ryder and I think that AEW left a lot on the table with Cardona’s recent run. How about Cody calls in Zack for help and Zack does a heel turn to capture the TNT Championship. Works for me. Woo woo woo. You know it!

What do you think about Chris Jericho’s reported $3,000 donation to the Donald Trump campaign?

I think that it’s his business and doesn’t matter at all in the big picture of things. So long as Jericho does his job and continues to be the classic entertainer he is, his political views do not and should not matter to me or anyone else.

How can AEW capitalize on Jake Hager’s recent MMA success?

Promote it and present him as the bad-ass he truly is. Jake needs to quit selling for the guys that are half his size and be used as a monster/killer, similar to what WWE does with Brock, and to a lesser degree, Lashley. Play on the MMA skills and let Jake dominate as he should be doing.

Do you believe that the NXT brand is dead and buried?

Not at all. It’s a good show with great action and characters. Maybe it needs some tweaking here and there, but me thinks the rumors of the death of NXT have been greatly exaggerated.

Should Matt Riddle be called just “Riddle” in the WWE?

Unless he’s wearing a green bodysuit covered in question marks, I would say no. He has a first name. Let him use it.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Any comments, thoughts, or questions you’d like to see answered, drop me a line and we’ll chat. Until the next time, take care of yourself and watch out for the crazies. Go VOTE! And I’ll see you on the flip side.
