Coming up tomorrow night, live on the WWE Network and selected pay-per-view outlets, it’s the WWE Survivor Series. Are you ready for some predictions? Let’s do this.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

A rematch from Wrestlemania with two men who, neither of which, can afford to lose. Roman is the top heel on Smackdown and doing the best work of his career. Drew is on fire and just reclaimed the WWE Championship from Randy Orton and losing his first match since getting the belt back, that wouldn’t be good. So where do we go from here? How about Brock Lesnar returning and laying waste to both men with some F-5s for all? Nah, that makes too much sense. I think we’ll see some Uso-interference and the numbers game will cause Drew to eat a loss.

Winner: Roman Reigns

The Undertaker’s “Final Farewell.”

I know that Savio Vega & Kane are both scheduled to appear as guests and I suspect that we’ll see a few other names from the past as well. But will it just be a tribute to the Dead Man and a final good-bye or is it going to be the start of something else? I almost hope we have someone (Sting?) come out and make a challenge for one more match (at Mania?). But we probably won’t. The Taker says good-bye. Friends and foes say good-bye. And the career of the Undertaker gets to Rest In Peace.

WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka vs. WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks.

Carmella has been going after Sasha again and again, and I think that will be the deciding factor when it comes to this match. Asuka should not lose. Asuka should be kick-ass and dominant over every potential challenger. Sasha though, is a great heel, almost like a modern-day female version of Ric Flair in his prime, and should always have a plan or two for every situation. Carmella gets involved and her distraction causes Sasha to fall victim to the Asuka lock. Works for me.

Winner: Asuka

WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn.

Lashley should dominate and walk all over Sami Zayn. It shouldn’t even be close, but then again, this is the WWE and that’s the point. It shouldn’t even be close, thus Sami will find a way, probably with the assistance of Retribution, will steal a win and get the victory.

Winner: Sami Zayn

WWE Raw Tag Team Champions The New Day vs WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Street Profits.

I have no desire to see this match. The New Day, I like. The Street Profits? Not so much. It’s a Cryme Tyme rip-off and what the hell is the whole “We want to smoke” crap? Are these guys a couple of pyromaniacs? The New Day should win. I think that the Profits probably will though.

Winners: The Street Profits.

Team Raw: WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler & Peyton Royce & Lacey Evans & Lana vs. Team Smackdown: Bianca Belair & Ruby Riott & Liv Morgan & Bayley & Natalya.

For some reason, I can’t really get into this match. I like some of the participants, but this match just seems like crickets to me. I guess Lana needs to win to make all the table-spots matter so look for Nia & Shayna to get eliminated. And Lana to win the match for her team by stealing a win and pinning Natayla.

Winners: Team RAW (Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Peyton Royce, Lacey Evans & Lana)

Team Raw: AJ Styles & Keith Lee & Sheamus & Braun Strowman & Riddle vs. Team Smackdown: Kevin Owens & Jey Uso & Baron Corbin & Seth Rollins & Otis in an Elimination Tag Team Match.

Team RAW can’t get along and Team Smackdown has a ton of egos as their team. Otis will be a surprise for his team and do some major eliminations. Seth is going to be “injured” to go off and play daddy for a while. Since Smackdown will win the Women’s Match, I think this match will have to go to the RAW guys. I’ll say Keith Lee will win it for his team.

Winners: Team RAW (AJ Styles, Keith Lee, Sheamus, Braun Strowman & (Don’t Call Me Matt) Riddle.

Kickoff Show: Battle Royal featuring Raw and Smackdown talents.

A thrown-together Battle Royal so that everyone who’s not a part of the show already can have something to do. I guess someone looked at the card and realized that there were only six matches booked and what if RAW and Smackdown tie in victories? So we get a Battle Royal that has had no build, no reward for winning, and no idea of who will or will not be participating. I guess I’ll just pick a random name to win. Either Lars Sullivan wins to establish himself as a monster or Mustafi Ali wins to show the dominance of Retribution. Maybe Big E wins since they’ve decided to separate him from the rest of the New Day to make him a singles star. Hell, let’s get crazy here. Let’s give the win to Bobby Roode. That would be… GLORIOUS!

Winner: Bobby Roode

And there you go. So are you excited for Survivor Series? Who do you think will be the winners and losers of the evening? Let me know what you think in the comment box. And with that, I’m out of here. Have a great day, stay safe and away from the crazies, and don’t forget to support your local Independent wrestlers and wrestling. I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!

  1. And you are right. I was thinking about Bayley when I did that prediction. That’s what happens when you are working on no-sleep and high anxiety. Oops! Thanks for the correction, but my prediction still stands. Distraction by Carmella and Asuka wins.
