So how the hell are you? I’m awake. Anything else, we’ll figure it out later. Let’s do the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. And away we go.

Thoughts about Andrade asking for his release from WWE?

Andrade is a good talent who seemingly had everything going for him, but since manager Zelina Vega was released, has become the forgotten man in WWE. It’s a shame because with the exception of promos and that being because English is not his native language, the man has all the tools to be a top star for WWE. But between the WWE booking and maybe some backstage heat due to Vega’s exit, he’s just another lost soul sitting at catering each week. If WWE isn’t going to use him, they should cut him loose and release him from his contract. I think Impact, AEW, or NEW Japan could all do something with this man. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens, but WWE should cut him loose.

You are approached to book WrestleMania, You are given 8 dream matches what are the dream matches you are putting on that night?

Do the wrestlers have to be still able to wrestle or even alive or is anyone and any match fair game? I’ll say that yes, anyone and anything is up for use in booking these matches. With that in mind, my eight matches would be The Undertaker versus Sting, Scott Hall & Kevin Nash (The Outsiders) versus The Anderson Brothers (Ole & Gene), Harley Race, Nick Bockwinkle & Bruno Sammartino versus The SHIELD, Hulk Hogan versus Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock versus Roddy Piper, The Hart Foundation w/ Jimmy Hart versus The Midnight Express w/ Jim Cornette, Asuka versus Chyna, and The Horsemen (Arn, Tully, & Barry) w/ James J. Dillon versus The New Day.

Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James is arguably the most important feud in women’s wrestling during the mid-2000s. A decade and a half later, what is your memories of this rivalry?

I remember bits and pieces and mainly Mickie’s crotch-lick. It was an interesting story that showcased a rivalry between two very important names in women’s wrestling. Trish worked her ass off to get better and Mickie, having worked her way up the Indy scene when there really wasn’t an Indy scene for women, was just damn awesome. They broke some barriers, set the bar, and set the roots for two great careers to come.

Thoughts on the recent Shane McMahon versus Braun Strowman build for a match at Fastlane and probably Wrestlemania?

As of today, the advertising has been pulled for this match so we don’t even know if Shane versus Braun is going to happen tonight at Fastlane or maybe we’ll be blessed enough to get it as part of Mania. My personal thoughts though? I could care less. Braun doesn’t impress me very much and Shane? Do we really need a Shane McMahon match? Why are we, the fans, being punished. The whole story is lame, forced, rushed, and sorry as hell. If it happens, it’s a bathroom break. If it doesn’t happen, even better.

If Ring of Honor had a Hall of Fame, who would be the first three inductees?

Christopher Daniels, Bryan Danielson, and Low-Ki would be my picks.

Why did AEW sign Christian Cage? Was it a good move?

We’ve discussed this before. Christian is a name, can wrestle, can talk, can have great matches against almost anyone, can work comedy or seriousness, and knows pretty much every aspect of the business better than almost anyone. It’s Christian. Hell yes, it’s a good move.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Any comments, thoughts, or questions, feel free and drop me a line and let’s chat. Until the next time, take care of yourself and stay safe. I’ll see you at the matches.
