Coming up on Sunday night on pay-per-view is All Elite Wrestling’s annual Double or Nothing event. It’s a big show for the talent of All Elite Wrestling and of course, that means it’s time to make a few predictions. Let’s do this.

AEW Champion Kenny Omega vs. Orange Cassidy vs. PAC.

It’s Jim Cornette’s two favorite wrestlers and a guy who looks like a pissed-off leprechaun in the main event. I can’t wait to hear what Corny has to say about this match when the smoke clears and all is said and done. I actually like Orange Cassidy, but he’s a comedy wrestler and shouldn’t be fighting for the World title as the main event of a pay-per-view. PAC belongs and he’s damn good as well, but I can’t see him as the top guy for AEW. It’s Omega’s show and he’s in the middle of this belt-collecting gimmick, which I don’t see ending anytime soon. PAC is there to provide credibility and Pockets is there to take the pin. And there you go.

Winner and STILL AEW World Champion: Kenny Omega

AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida vs. Dr. Britt Baker.

Baker has grown on me and she is such an excellent heel challenger, I don’t know if I want to see her as champion. She’s like the female equivalent of Roddy Piper during the Hogan days in the early WWF and doesn’t need a belt. It might even take away from the package, but I guess there is only one way to find out. Shida is a damn good talent and has done an excellent job as the champ for AEW, but I think it’s time to see a little change in the big picture of things. We’re going to have a new Champion here.

Winner and NEW AEW Women’s Champion: Dr. Britt Baker

AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks vs. Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston.

In the real world, this wouldn’t even be close. Moxley and Edwards would and should dominate and destroy the Super-Kick Twins. But in AEW, where the Bucks are also EVP’s, we’re not supposed to think that way. Mox and Edwards may be wild things, but the Bucks have the belts and I can’t see them losing them anytime soon.

Winners and STILL AEW Tag Team Champions: The Young Bucks

AEW TNT Champion Miro vs. Lance Archer.

Rusev crush! Rusev smash! Miro has finally found his inner Bulgarian Brute, albeit a slightly more goofy version than we remember and it’s too soon to have him lose his newly won title. Archer will give Miro a great fight and this one should be really good and fun to watch, but when it’s all said and done, the belt stays with Miro.

Winner and STILL TNT Champion: Miro

The Pinnacle vs. The Inner Circle in a Stadium Stampede Match – Inner Circle Must Disband if they lose.

The men named after the mid-grade vodka, Pinnacle, won the first match at Blood & Guts, so the laws of wrestling say that the second match should go to the Chris Jericho fan club, aka The Inner Circle. And then we have a rubber match at some point in the future. It’s basic wrestling booking 101 so there you go.

Winners: The Inner Circle

Sting & Darby Allin vs. Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky – AEW has stated this will not be a cinematic match, but live in the ring.

I can’t see AEW letting Sting wrestle live and lose a match on a pay-per-view, but at the same time, what’s the point of burying Page and Sky by making them lose to a sixty-one year old man. And if they lose, that’s what it is, a burial. Page and Sky SHOULD win. They won’t though because Sting is Sting and AEW will want to keep the fresh, young rookie strong.

Winners: Sting & Darby Allin

Adam Page vs. Brian Cage.

This may be the surprise match of the night in that I expect it will steal the show and blow the rest of the matches away. These two men are both under-rated and that damn good. I guess we’ll see Taz’s Army and of course The Dark Order all get involved and it will be the chaos that decides the finish. Look for Page to get distracted by his friends and for Cage to end up with the win. Sounds like a plan to me.

Winner: Brian Cage

Cody Rhodes vs. Anthony Ogogo.

I get that AEW wants to build up and showcase Ogogo as one of their new stars, but does anyone really think he’s going to beat Cody on a pay-per-view event? I would think that QT Marshall and the rest of the trainees from the Nightmare Academy think so. Look for interference and shenanigans in the finish. And Ogogo gets his first win,

Winner: Anthony Ogogo

Casino Battle Royal: Christian Cage, Matt Sydal, Powerhouse Hobbs, The Varsity Blonds, Dustin Rhodes, Matt Hardy, The Acclaimed, Evil Uno, Colt Cabana, Preston Vance, Jungle Boy vs. Matt Hardy, Private Party, Penta El Zero Miedo, QT Marshall, Nick Comoroto and more.

It’s down to two men for me and I’m not even sure if one of them is even wrestling in this event. Either Christian shows why he’s such a great asset for AEW and wins or else we see the emergence of the butterfly from the cocoon as Fuego Del Sol finally hits that Tornado DDT and takes home the biggest win of his career. Nah, Fuego isn’t winning, but it would be really cool if he did. I guess my money is on Captain Charisma, aka Christian Cage, winning it for the Peeps.

Winner: Christian Cage

And there you go. So who do you think will be winning each of these matches? Let me know in the comments. Any questions, thoughts, or anything else, give me a shout. My thanks for reading. Have a great one and stay safe and I will see you next time. See you at the matches.
