Are you ready to do that rasslin’ thing? Let’s get busy.
Who has had a better 2021: Edge or Christian?
Edge made a return, won the Royal Rumble, had a great match against Randy Orton at Mania, and also had a shot at Roman and the Universal Championship. Christian made a return, participated in the Royal Rumble, signed with AEW, won the Impact World Championship, and had a couple of damn good matches against Kenny Omega. I don’t think either man has a reason to complain or object and can be proud of the year that they’ve had so far. And who’s year was better? Christian is still the Impact Wrestling World Champion. He’s wearing gold. Edge hasn’t won any gold yet and I think that answers that question pretty easily.
Everyone is excited about the Owen Hart Cup/Tournament, even though he never had any association with AEW. If his family gave their blessing, would you be against WWE starting a Brodie Lee/Luke Harper tournament? Just curious?
So long as the family is cool with it, I think an event honoring Brodie Lee would be cool as fuck. As for the Owen thing, it’s true that he didn’t have any kind of association with AEW, but AEW has only existed for two years so how could he. If Martha Hart and the family are happy with the deal with AEW, more power to them.
Will Brian Pillman Jr. evolve into a psychotic character like his father and would it be a good move for Pillman?
I think his career could use a little more fire and edge and maybe a slight twist to the psycho-character will do the job. He just needs to make sure that it’s subtle and fits his character’s evolvement so it appears to be a natural development instead of being forced. But yeah, if done right, that could be a good move.
Cactus Jack & Abdullah The Butcher versus Dr. Death Steve Williams & Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy. Who wins?
Williams and Gordy would win because Abby would turn on Cactus after about five minutes into the match and abandon his partner in the ring.
If Jim Cornette wanted to come back to wrestling and manage again, where would you have him working and who would you have him manage?
I’d have him working AEW and managing FTR. It’s a match that would be awesome.
If you could choose anyone in the world to face in a match, who would be your dream opponent?
For me to face in the ring? How about Harley Race? He’d make me look like a million bucks while he beats my ass. Or maybe I’d fight Diamond Lil’. She’s in her sixties and a midget. I could probably take her. Okay, maybe not.
Who is most likely to beat Reigns for the title and when will they do it?
I think that when the Head of the Table takes a break, it will be Drew McIntyre who takes him down. As for when, we have to get Roman through Brock and The Rock first so it’ll be sometime after Mania.
Men’s trios belt or Women’s tag belts?
For AEW, I’d go with the Trios title. There are so many three-man teams and factions in AEW, a title for the three-person units just seems like a natural option.
Which would you rather see? Orange Cassidy v. Roman Reigns? Or Eddie Kingston v. Samoa Joe?
Cassidy versus Roman would be interesting, but it would suck in the big picture of things. Kingston versus Joe would be brutal, stiff, and a slobber-knocker of a fight. That would definitely be my preference.
Who would you rather fight? An El Torito-sized Brock Lesnar, or a Brock Lesnar-sized El Torito?
Either way, I’d get my ass kicked, but I think a mini-me Brock would be easier to deal with and do less damage than a monster-sized bull-guy. So Brock-sized El Torito it is.
If you were to form a stable that you would lead out of any active wrestlers who would you choose?
How about Windham Rotundo, Taylor Rotundo, Erik Redbeard, and Joe Hennig as a unit, with myself and Lisa “Ivory” Moretti as the managers/advisors.
Who is your Universal/WWE champ in 5 years? Who’s your AEW World champ in 5 years?
In five years? How about Heath Slater as the WWE Champion, making a return to the WWE and keeping the 3MB tradition alive. As for AEW, I’ll go with a young man I know from here on the NC Independent scene, the current American Championship Wrestling champion, Sammy Love. The guy is damn good and on his way and he’s only 18 years old right now. He’s going to be a star.
We all saw the old Elias is dead. Is the new Elias dead too?
For as much as we’ve seen him on WWE TV as of late, the new Elias may as well be.
What makes Evil Uno of the Dark Order “Evil”?
Maybe his underwear is too tight or maybe he has a hangnail. Why ask why? I don’t think he’s necessarily evil, but maybe more just annoying or slightly twisted. He can’t help what his name is and maybe when he was born, his Mama called him an evil little creature and the name just stuck. He just is and that’s all de’ people need to know.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Until we meet again, stay good and be safe. I’ll see you at the matches.
