Whatever happened to Strowman and Bray coming to AEW?

I don’t know. Braun has done a couple of appearances, but the word is that he’s demanding big money. As for Bray, his no-compete just expired slightly over a week ago so he wasn’t even able to negotiate until then. There’s no need for them to hurry and if AEW is the final destination for these two men, they’ll be there when they get there. No rush.

Nia Jax to AEW? Yes or no?

It’s probably just me, but I actually like Nia and although she needs to tighten up her work in the ring, I think she’d make a welcome addition to the AEW Women’s Roster. Nia versus Nyla. ‘Nuff said! I can’t see anything long term, but maybe a year or so and she could be used by AEW to put over the other talent, draw an audience, and help with other things. So Nia as All Elite? Hell, they keep Marko Stunt around so can Nia be any worse?

WWE just released 18 wrestlers. Thoughts?

Some of these were a big surprise and others, not so much, but it’s totally crazy in my opinion, to decimate the roster this way, especially with names like Karrion Kross, Ember Moon, and “Bearcat” Keith Lee among the mix. WWE is trimming the fat, so to speak, from the roster and there has to be a reason and near as I can tell, there’s a nearly 80-year-old man who doesn’t get it making the calls and this is what happens. I feel for these men and women and all I can say and wonder is, who’s next?

What would McMahon Sr say about today’s WWE?

I don’t think he’d say anything. He’d just sit there, look at his son and shake his head with a stern look of “what the… ?”. I don’t think Vince Sr. would be a happy person or approve much of what the company he founded has become.

AEW will attract more fans if Eddie beats Punk at Full Gear. True or false?

I think that promo last Friday night is all they need to attract fans, but wrestling fans are a fickle bunch and while it would get a huge reaction if Eddie does beat Punk, I think it would turn off more in the overall picture of things than draw in new fans. They (the fans) wouldn’t be happy or accept it at all so I’ll go with False.

With all the talents on the open market right now what would be the 4 talents, you would sign to start up your own promotion?

Jay Lethal (from ROH), Windham Rotundo (from WWE), Franky Monet (WWE/NXT), and Jim Cornette.

Will the WWE ever induct Lex Luger into the Hall of Fame?

Luger works for WWE under a Legend’s Deal and as a motivational coach, so he’s on good terms with WWE management. I think it’s just a matter of time for Lex to get the nod and get inducted.

Sabu is retiring from active competition. Who would you like to see him have a “final match” against?

Sabu said that he wanted to face Brock Lesnar so let’s go with that. Actually for me though, I’d do it with someone who would take care of Sabu in the ring, he has a history with, and the fans would want to see. Let’s make it a classic brawl with either RVD or Tommy Dreamer.
