Tossing Salt Presents:
Ultimate Wrestling Q&A
AEW HOF, Punk Vs Cabana & More

It’s cold, wet, and rainy. What better reason to talk a little about the world’s greatest form of entertainment, pro wrestling. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.
Would you like to see AEW start their own Hall of Fame and have Mr. Brodie Lee be their first-ever inductee? Perhaps, Owen Hart could be inducted in 2023. Thoughts?
An AEW Hall of Fame sounds good to me. Both Brodie Lee for what he did for AEW at the start and Owen Hart would make great inductees for the first year. It would also give some of those legends who will not get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for whatever reason, such as Ivan Koloff, Baron Von Raschke, The Anderson Brothers, Missy Hyatt, Baby Doll, etc., a chance to get their kudos and just due as true iconic legends in this great business we all know and love.
It’s got to happen sooner or later, Punk versus Cabana. There is too much history not to do it. Let them battle it out to get their real-life drama out of the way in a storyline, then reunite the 2nd City Saints to go to war against the Young Bucks.
It would be great for the diehard fans who pay attention to all the dirt and behind-the-scenes crap and if Punk and Cabana were to want to do it, I’d be all for it and say hell to the yeah. Right now, I think the bad-blood and legit hurt between the two is too raw and fresh to work it into a storyline, but if the two men were locked in a room with Tony Khan to work out their problems, it would definitely make for a program worth seeing. As for reuniting as the Second City Saints, let’s hold off on that until they get their issues straight first or else it would never work.
Are Sting & Darby Allin future AEW World Tag Team Champions?
I can see it happening at some point so I will say yes.
Should AEW bring Rosie O’Donnell in as part of the MJF-CM Punk feud?
While that would be funny, I have no desire to see Rosie O’Donnell anywhere on my TV, be it on a wrestling show, on the news, or anything. She’s a reprehensible piece of trash human being and just needs to go away.
Do you remember when Heath Slater was released by WWE, but then brought back for one more match against Drew McIntyre? What would have happened if Heath had pinned Drew to win the WWE title? They were on live TV so if Heath and Drew went into business for themselves, what would have happened?
I think both Drew and Heath are too professional to do something like that, but it would have been interesting to see. I know the WWE referees are told to count the pins as legit and it’s up to the wrestlers to make sure they kick out properly, so if an accident was to happen, as it did with a Harley Race/Giant Baba NWA World Championship switch back in the late ’70s in Japan where they collided in the ring and it wasn’t conclusive it the pin was accidental or planned, I guess all WWE could do would be to just roll with it. Vince would freak out and both men would probably end up unemployed within a few months. They’d acknowledge Heath as the champ and then the next television taping, he’d lose the belt in a squash. It’d make for great TV and a great “what the hell?” moment, but it would essentially end the careers of both Heath and Drew in the big picture of things. Better that they stuck to the script than do the business for themselves.
Did you ever consider starting up your own Pro Wrestling website?
I have thought about this many times, but the work involved is too much to think about, especially since my interest in the current product is hit and miss at times. But until recently, I was already working a full-time job, a part-time volunteer job, and trying to have a social life as well. I do plenty of work here on my site, trying to make sure to keep doing these Q&A’s daily and posting something every day, but this is more of a vanity project than anything else. A full-scale wrestling site would require a lot more time and effort than I’m able to do right now. If things don’t work out for me and I’m unable to return to work due to my medical issues, I may give it a shot and see how many former associates I can recruit to work with me and go full-steam ahead. That’s a wait-and-see right now though, but I’d love to do a site, similar to what Wrestle-Zone.Co.UK used to be, with emphasis on columns and opinions than anything else. Just keep an eye out and if I’m able to do it, you, my loyal readers, will be the first to know.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome. Until the next time, stay safe and be good. I’ll see you at the matches.
