It’s more fun than a chipmunk trying to disco. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A and it all starts now. Let’s do this.
The Mega Powers (Macho Mandow & AxelMania) versus The fake Razor Ramon and Fake Diesel. Who wins?
It’s the Milli Vanilli match of the evening and would be fun for all the kiddies to see. The fake Razor and Diesel didn’t really do it for me. AxelMania and Macho Mandow were over like Rover with the WWE audience until the real Hulk Hogan had his little n-word scandal and everything Hulk-related was buried for a while. The Mega Powers 2.0 would take the win here.
Ronda Rousey versus Chyna. Who wins?
Chyna has the definite strength and size advantage, but all it would take is one opening, and Rousey could flip her around and make her tap. Rousey would win.
Roddy Piper. Did you like him better as a face (good guy) or heel (bad guy)?
Piper as a face didn’t do anything for me. Piper was a natural smart-ass and great heel in every aspect of the word. I absolutely preferred Piper as the bad guy, and if you don’t agree, you deserved to be hit in the face with a coconut.
One of the rumors I keep hearing about Tony Khan’s big announcement is that Tony has bought ROH and that William Regal will be running it for him. Thoughts?
That would be great news if this is the case. The ROH TV deal would give Tony Khan a place to send more talent and allow them to work more often, gaining experience and exposure. It’d also provide a viable crew and roster for ROH to build upon and essentially, you’d have a WWE-style brand split, but with AEW and ROH instead of RAW and Smackdown. And as for William Regal being the man in charge, he has the knowledge, the experience, and the reputation. I doubt that this is the actual big announcement that Tony is planning, but if it does turn out to be what he’s planning, I have no complaints.
It’s a shame that such an incredible wrestler such as Andrade has become an afterthought in AEW. He doesn’t feel important anymore. Thoughts?
He hasn’t felt important to me since he was broken up from Zelina Vega in WWE. Andrade is a good wrestler and I’m not denying that, but he needs a Vega-like character to counter his weak points and balance out his character. So far, the partnership with Matt Hardy in AEW just isn’t working at all.
Matt Hardy showed up at a recent Indy show this past weekend to help out fellow Omega Original Cham Pain. Do you think this means Cham Pain is going to AEW?
Cham Pain, real name Marty Garner, is a very talented performer and an Omega Original as you noted, so he would be a good talent for AEW to look at and consider, but given his age, I don’t think wrestling a full-time schedule is what he’s wanting to do at this point and time. My suggestion would be to bring Marty in to be a fill-in managerial type for Matt’s clients such as Private Party for when Matt is back wrestling with Jeff. Marty can talk, take bumps, and would be great in the role of Matt’s assistant.
And as for that show, I heard Matt speak about it and he says that it was a spur-of-the-moment decision to attend. The show took place in Vass, NC, roughly about 7-8 miles from the Hardy Compound. Marty had contacted Jeff Hardy about attending and doing something, but Jeff is under a no-compete with WWE and can’t really do anything right now. Matt and his family decided to go to the show and Marty asked him about making an appearance. Matt agreed and after the match, where Marty, aka Cham Pain managed to defeat ACW World Champion Sammy Love, who just happens to be the son of another Omega Original, The Wild Samoan Wachee, there was a beatdown on Garner by Sammy and his associates in Hated World Wide and the Omega Originals on hand, along with Matt Hardy made the save. Hopefully, we’ll see more of Marty versus Sammy in the months to come. Those two are great on their own, but now, the action is really picking up because as proven Saturday night, you don’t know who else is getting involved or what might happen.
Do you think Veer Mahaan will ever get to RAW?
Probably not until after Wrestlemania at this point, and then he’ll show up, get on the mic, and apologize for being late. He’ll admit that he probably should have taken that left turn at Albuquerque. Then he’ll say he’s going to Smackdown, drop the mic and walk out of the arena. The Veer Mahaan Coming To Smackdown vignettes will start the next night on NXT.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions you’d like to see answered, just give me a shout in the comments box or at my e-mail of Doug28352@yahoo.com and we’ll chat. Until the next time, take care and be safe. Watch out for the foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
