Redder than the face of Brother Love, with more mother-f*ckers than a Jim Cornette love letter to Vince Russo, it’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Should Paul Heyman go into the WWE Hall of Fame? Who would you choose to induct him?

Should Paul Heyman go into the WWE Hall of Fame? That’s a no-brainer to be sure and the answer is definitely yes. As for who should do the inductions, I’d go with either Tommy Dreamer (the safe induction) or Missy Hyatt (the fun induction). Both have a long history with Heyman, both would be glad to do it, and both would be entertaining.

William Regal is All Elite. Thoughts?

I’ll suffice it by using a favorite Bryan Danielson catchphrase. YES! YES! YES! I am glad to see Mr. Regal back on TV, back in the business, and ready to be his awesome-ass self.

Erick Redbeard. Will he be a game-changer in AEW?

Nope, not really. I like Erick, the former Erick Rowan, but he’s just another big body who will be lost in the shuffle of the bloated AEW roster. He’s a good worker but an average talker at best, and I can’t see him being anything more than just another face in the crowd.

Thoughts on Lacey Evans? I think with a little more ring work she could be a huge asset for WWE.

To be honest, I had forgotten about Lacey, but I agree that she is a good worker and has a lot of ability and charisma. She only needs more seasoning and experience and she could very well be a top name for the WWE at some point. She had a baby girl back in October, so I would imagine she’s working now to get back in shape and we’ll probably see her back in a WWE ring this summer. It’ll be good to see what she can do.

Could you imagine instead of NWO if Hogan came to DX?

No, I can not imagine it because Hogan barely fit into the nWo with Hall & Nash. He absolutely would NOT have fit in with DX and the threesome of HBK, Triple H, and Chyna. Just thinking about it is giving me a headache and making me nauseous. Hogan as part of DX? Don’t even think it and never say that again. Hell to the no!

Hell in a Cell Match. Kevin Sullivan vs. The Undertaker. Who wins?

While Sullivan was tough as a daytime hooker in Los Angeles in his day, he only stands about 5’10 or so. The Undertaker is 6’7, and just as bad-ass and tough. It’d actually be a good match, but there is no doubt in my mind that Undertaker would win and win easily.

What was the best boxer versus wrestler match you’ve ever seen?

Generally speaking, boxer versus wrestler matches suck. I haven’t seen many, but I remember the Muhammad Ali versus Antonio Inoki fight back in the ’70s and that did absolutely nothing to benefit either man. I remember in WCW, there was a Johnny B. Badd versus Arn Anderson fiasco of a fight at one of the Clash Of The Champions shows, and who can forget Floyd Mayweather versus The Big Show at Wrestlemania 24? I’d like to forget about that one. Show should have said forget the script and squashed that illiterate little dweeb-ass. The only one I can think of that was actually good was Larry Zbyszko versus Scott LeDoux at the AWA WrestleRock 86 PPV. Yes, something decent did come from that show. It wasn’t great by any means, but it was entertaining, not insulting to wrestling fans, and was well done, something I can not say about any of those other matches. So Zbyszko versus LeDoux at WrestleRock 86. That’s my pick. Here’s the match.

So now it’s Steve Austin as part of the Kevin Owens Show at Wrestlemania. Are you excited about this?

I think this will be fine for what it is and I’ll go ahead and call it now. During his promo where Kevin Owens called out Steve Austin to be his guest at Mania, he laid some insults to other native Texan WWE wrestlers Booker T, JBL, and Shawn Michaels. So here’s how it goes down. Owens and Stone Cold are at Mania. The discussion gets heated and Owens decides to leave the ring before Austin can give him a stunner. Here comes JBL, Booker, and HBK from the back to cut off Owen’s escape. They, along with Austin, surround him in the ring. Sweet chin music from HBK to Owens and then he turns into a stunner from Austin. Owens rolls from the ring, Austin calls for a beer, and we get the four Hall of Famers having a beer bash to the delight of the fans. That’s what’s going down at Mania. Watch and see.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Any comments, thoughts, or questions are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, take care of yourself and be safe. I’ll see you at the Gorilla position.
