Dedicated to the memory of Mr. Joshua McVicker. Rest in Peace, my friend. You will absolutely be missed. Love ya!
It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.
If there was a Monday night war between AEW and WCW who would win?
How would this even be possible since WCW has been out of business for well over twenty-plus years and aired on the same networks where AEW airs now, plus the majority of AEW’s older stars were part of WCW. I’ll do this in the simplest way possible. At its best, AEW barely breaks a million viewers each week. At its worst, WCW Nitro was doing between two to three million viewers each week. Thus, WCW would win.
Jon Moxley & Bryan Danielson as a tag team with William Regal as their manager? I like it. What do you think?
It sounds good to me as well. If Regal is not to be used as an authority figure, to keep Tony Khan off TV as it should be, then the on-screen manager of Danielson and Moxley is a great alternative.
Better super-kick? Shawn Michaels or Chris Adams? Michaels is the popular choice, but Adams kick was good in my opinion.
Michaels learned his superkick from originally watching Adams, so Adams did it first and was the teacher. But that being said, the student has surpassed the teacher. HBK does it better.
Take the HBK matches out of Taker’s portfolio and tell me with a straight face that he’s one of the greatest of all time. I don’t think you can.
With or without the matches against HBK, Taker still had a great career, was a great character, and is one of the greatest wrestling characters of all time. There you go. I did it and I mean every work.
The Faces of the Attitude Era, Steve Austin, The Undertaker, The Rock & Triple H versus The Faces of the Ruthless Aggression Era, Batista, John Cena, Edge & Brock Lesnar in a War Games Match. Who wins?
I’d probably replace Batista with Randy Orton for this match if it was my choice, but I’ll leave it as it is. And of this group. inside that two-ring, cage-enclosed ring, I’d give the big win to the Attitude Era group. Edge is the one who would eat the pin after getting the smackdown from The Rock.
Dolph Ziggler is the new NXT Champion. What the hell?
And if you noticed, Dolph didn’t beat the champion but instead beat the third man in the triple threat match with Tomasso Ciampa and Bron Breakker. This gives a little fire to Dolph, who’s a damn good wrestler and very under-used by the WWE, plus it gives us a big match for Wrestlemania, with the former Champion, Bron Breakker coming to get back the title he never lost from the new champion. It’s Wrestling 101 booking and best for business. It makes sense and I’m good with it.
So word going around Seth Rollins will have a mystery opponent at Mania and it’ll be Cody. Thoughts?
Maybe it will be and maybe it won’t be, but Seth versus Cody would be a damn good match, would probably steal the show at Mania, and would be a great way to re-debut Cody in the WWE. We’ll probably have to wait and see if this match comes to pass, but if that is the plan and we get Cody versus Seth at Mania, no complaints from me. Book it, Vince.
Sid Vicious has been announced, along with Vader, as Inductees for the WWE Hall of Fame. Thoughts?
Both men are deserving and belong in the WWE Hall of Fame. With Vader especially, it’s long overdue and Sid, being a former multi-time WWE and WCW Champion, it’s time as well. Let’s just hope there isn’t a softball game going on that night or he’ll never show.
And there you go, My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions you may have, it’s all welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, stay safe and be good. I’ll see you at the concession stand. Be there.
