More juice than Juvi and Orange Cassidy together for a night on the town, it’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Will CM Punk & Bryan Danielson go back to ROH for a match?
If ROH does start to have PPVs again, I think Tony Khan would be crazy to not, at some point, book two of the most successful ROH alumni, both of who work for him as part of AEW, into a match. It’s a no-brainer.
How many powerbombs should Wardlow deliver to MJF when he finally gets a match with him?
Seven. I like that number and it’s supposed to be lucky, so let’s go with that. Seven.
What wrestling couple will have belts at the same time first? Sammy & Tay? Cole & Britt?
Sammy and Tay already accomplished that when Sammy was the TNT Champion while Tay was the holder of the Sammy VLOG Championship. But unfortunately, Tay lost the VLOG belt to Alan Angels, while Sammy lost the TNT belt to Scorpio Sky. And if you’re speaking of AEW Championships, Britt is the Women’s Champion, so we only need Cole to win a belt to make that happen. I think right now, it’ll be Britt and Cole as the first power couple of champions, baybay!
UFC Star Colby Covington said recently that once his UFC career is over, he’d like to give WWE a run. Thoughts?
He’s a good fighter and has a strong personality so I could see it happening. Brock is getting older and will probably only wrestle for a few more years so Covington would be a good candidate to take his spot. Works for me.
Who should induct Vader into the WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2022?
In my opinion, the best man to do the honors, if not former manager Jim Cornette, would be Mick Foley.
Does Eddie Kingston Have The Complete Package To Win A World Title?
Nope, I don’t think so. Kingston has a personality and some credibility, but when I look at him, I don’t see a top guy or face of the company. I may be wrong, but he just doesn’t have that special “it” that I feel is necessary to be the man. He’s mid-card at best.
Jeff Hardy is back in AEW. Thoughts?
Jeff is happy, reunited with Matt, and in a place that will work with him to be the best Hardy he can be. Jeff is All Elite. That’s probably a good thing and I’m happy for him.
Matt Jackson recently said, “Wrestling has the most toxic fanbase in the world. They’re the worst. Honestly, like, there’s a lot of good fans. The ones that love you, love you. But the ones that hate you, they hate you.” Is he right or wrong?
As much as I hate to agree with one of the Hardly Boys, he’s not wrong. Wrestling fans are passionate, intense, loyal to a fault, and some of the craziest people on earth. But as Bryan Danielson once said, they’re also very, very fickle. It is what it is and Matt Jackson, on this one topic, you’re very right.
Could Bret Hart be making a return to AEW? His name has been coming up an awful lot lately.
The AEW Double Or Nothing PPV for 2022 will be taking place at the end of May in Las Vegas and will feature two tournaments, for both men and women, for the Owen Hart Cup. Martha Hart, Owen’s widow, will be there to present the trophies to the winners. And it would not surprise me in the slightest, in the build to this event, that The Hitman makes an appearance or two. In fact, it makes great sense, and although I’m not sure what Bret’s relationship with Martha is like these days, they both loved Owen and I’m sure both of them will be there and help to preserve and honor his memory. So Bret in AEW? Count on it.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions you may have are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, take care and stay safe. I’ll see you at the matches.
