Better carry-out service than Ox Baker on holiday, it’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

AEW is clearly teasing a Bret Hart managerial gig. Behind FTR during their interview was a pink light sandwich in between two blue lights. The pink is obvious but I had to remember that I think Brett started out wearing a blue. Then of course the Young Bucks hit ‘em with “you can hire the best there is.” The writing is on the wall. Thoughts?

Coming up in April for AEW is the Owen Hart tournaments and tributes so, with that in mind, bringing in Bret as the manager for FTR makes a lot of sense. Personally, I’d rather see Cornette in their corner, but we know that’s not going to happen. The Hitman aligning himself with FTR for a few months? I like it.

There are three people set to complete the Triple Crown of AEW. What will happen first: Kenny Omega wins the TNT title, Hangman Page wins the TNT title or Scorpio Sky wins the AEW title?

Of the three options, I think Omega as the TNT Champion is the most likely to happen first. I don’t see Sky as the AEW Champion unless he really grows as a personality and catches fire with the fans. As for The Hangman being TNT Champion, he has to lose the AEW title first and I don’t think that will be for a few more months at least. Omega, just by who he is, will be immediately put in title contention when he returns to AEW. A run as the TNT Champion is absolutely a strong possibility.

Thunder Rosa is the new AEW Women’s Champion. Thoughts?

She’s a hard worker and a good wrestler. It’ll be good to see what she can do as the champion and what kind of impact she can make as the top woman in AEW. And to me personally, I’m interested in seeing what Britt Baker will do chasing the belt for a change instead of being the champ. I think the action in the AEW Women’s Division is about to pick up.

If Sharmell can be in the HOF why can’t Nidia?

Nidia can be in the HOF and it would be fun to see her back with WWE for an induction. The only problem that I see is that if I recall correctly, she no longer lives in the United States and has broken clean of the world of pro wrestling, not even doing the conventions or signings. If she was interested and if WWE was able to contact and reach out to her, Nidia, being inducted by Jamie Noble, would be a fun moment for all of their fans, myself included, but I don’t see it happening anytime soon. Sharmell is married to Booker T and part of the WWE family so it’s just easier and more practical to induct her instead.

Your (4) Mount Rushmore of Overrated Wrestlers.

Right off the top of my head, I’d go with Kevin Nash (a great character, but not much of a wrestler), Ronnie Garvin (should never have been WCW Champion), Konnan (great politician, but in the ring, not so much), and Mil Mascaras (loved the masks, but the man was a dick!).

Was there ever a match that left you outraged by the outcome?

When Hulk Hogan made his WCW debut and in the first damn match, beat Ric Flair for the WCW Championship, I was absolutely pissed off big time. Hogan’s friend, Mr. T, was there and Jimmy Hart was there and it was so stacked against The Nature Boy, it wasn’t even funny. Damn, I hated Hogan.

Are there any classic managers that you think would have worked well with any current talent? For me, I think Bobby Heenan would’ve been great with Robert Roode.

A manager like Bobby Heenan could work well with almost anyone in AEW or WWE today. He was that good. I’d love to see Jim Cornette do one last run with FTR, but hell, put Corny with a team like Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode and it would be magic. Jimmy Hart with Alpha Academy or Cesaro/Sheamus would be incredible to see as well.

How long do you think WWE will give it to insert Cody into the world title picture?

Once Cody’s initial feud with Seth is over, I don’t think it will take long for Cody to be moved into the big title picture. Probably just a month or so at the longest.

What wrestling storyline or wrestler’s career would you love to see put to film? And who would you like to play them?

How about the Marko Stunt story, starring Marko Stunt. Hell, it isn’t like he has anything better to do, right? Just kidding. Or am I? Hmmmmm.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Any comments, thoughts, or questions, give me a shout. It’d be much appreciated. Until the next time, take care and be good. I’ll see you at the matches.
