Will Smith & Ric Flair versus Chris Rock & Mark Madden at Wrestlemania. It needs to happen. Book it, Vince. This is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

What match are you Most/Least looking forward to watching at Wrestlemania?

To be honest, I’m not really feeling Mania yet, but I’m sure as the week progresses, I’ll start feeling it more. Most looking for? I’ll go with either the Roman versus Brock fight or the Steve Austin interaction with Kevin Owens. Least anticipating? How about the multi-woman tag team title match. All of these women are just being treated as an afterthought in a match thrown together. They deserve better.

Who’s an active wrestler who you think is criminally underrated?

I’ve often mentioned him, but the former TNA talent Crimson, who now wrestles under his real name Anthony Mayweather in the NWA, just checks off every box in the “star” category. He is so underrated. Chris Masters is another who is capable of so much more than he’s allowed to show or do.

What odds are there of Brock pulling a Shooting Star Press out of the bag at the weekend?

It would be a surprise and fun to see, but the chances of this happening, I don’t think are very likely.

Do you think there will be any surprises at Mania, and if so what or who?

I think Cody is the one big surprise that we’re all expecting, but I’m sure that we’ll see plenty of cameos from past stars both at Mania and on RAW the following Monday night. As for who and what, I just have a feeling that we’ll see an appearance by the nWo (Hogan, Nash, Waltman), and maybe Trish Stratus as well.

Which wrestlers that never got the match or showcase they deserved would you put in the main event match to show off their stuff fully, were you given the power?

The main event of who I want, finally giving them their shot? How about Matt Cardona, who is finally getting his time and it’s well deserved, up against John Cena, in retribution for that whole deal with Eve Torres. Remember, Zack was in love with Eve but came across her making out with Cena, who was supposed to be one of Ryder’s friends. Then the story was buried and forgotten. Ryder never got his payback. Now, have the NWA Champion Cardona wrestle and beat Cena in the main event of a pay-per-view. It really needs to happen and if I had the power to make it so, I would do just that.

What was your overall opinion of Scotty2 Hotty?

A good wrestler, an entertaining talent, and a guy who made a far bigger career than he probably should have. The ultimate overachiever who made the most out of every opportunity he was given, got the ball and ran with it, and also from all reports, just a good person. Yeah, Scotty is one of the good ones. Using the worm as a finisher, I never really got it, but he’s a solid mid-card, tag team guy, and if any company has a chance to hire this guy, they should do so.

In a Fatal 4-way between Terri Poch, Chyna, Jordynne Grace, and Bianca Belair, who you got winning?

Of these four, I think I’ll go with Chyna. Bianca is actually a better wrestler, but how many Hall of Fame rings does she have? Chyna wins.

Does Cody Rhodes return die as quickly as when the Hardy Boys returned a few years ago at Mania?

I think Cody might be used better and have a longer run at or near the top of the card than the Hardys were allowed. And why? Because Vince is known to hate tag team wrestling and what were the Hardys? A top tag team. Cody is a strong singles star, has a long history with Vince, and there is so much more to do with him. We’ll see at least a year of Cody as a top guy before the star fades.

Thoughts and memories of Rocky King?

I just heard about this as longtime Crockett job-guy Rocky King passed away. Rocky was a good talent who was one of the best sellers and have a strong match with anyone. Rocky was the ultimate underdog, who would give a good match, get his ass whipped, but always put up a fight. I remember him briefly getting a push as a tag partner for Jimmy Valiant. He had a personality, charisma, and from what I understand, a great heart as he was heavily involved in charity stuff and helping others after his wrestling career ended. Rest in Peace, Rocky King. You will be missed.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, or any questions are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, take care and be good. I’ll see you at the matches.
