Back again and it feels so good. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A, where I answer any and all questions about the world’s greatest form of entertainment. Nothing is off limits. So, are you ready? I said, are you ready? Let’s do this.
So CM Punk and FTR vs Jon Moxley, Claudio, and Yuta soon?
One can only hope that this is on the agenda and will be coming up soon. It would be a great match to see and I’m sure that all the AEW fans would agree. Hey Tony, go ahead and book this already. We’re waiting.
Ric Flair is already talking about “the next time”. Do you think he’ll have any more “final matches”?
It’s Ric Flair. If the money is right, he’ll do it again and again, wrestling every six months or so and saying, “but I really mean it this time” if questioned. Flair is arguably one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and has a legacy that few could ever hope for, but he also has no pride or shame when that ego and money is involved. I hope that Conrad, Charlotte, and the rest of the family can stop him, but if he’s given the chance, he’ll be back in that ring again.
Should HHH bring “War Games” to the main roster events?
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. Not as a regular, annual event, but when the situation and feud calls for something special and beyond the ordinary.
If you got the opportunity to be a Wrestling manager and choose 4 wrestlers from the 70-80-90s, dead or alive to face: The Undertaker, Mankind, Terry Funk, and Hammer Valentine in a Hell in a Cell match -which wrestlers and why?
Let’s start off with my team leader, Harley Race. Why Harley? Because it’s Harley Race. What more reason do you need? And his partners would be Bruiser Brody, Jack Jack Brisco, and Brock Lesnar. Brody would match up well against Undertaker. If you have a Funk, you need to have a Brisco because their rivalry was legendary. And Brock because as tough as Greg Valentine is, Brock is tougher. And Harley has history with Cactus/Mankind, so all the rivalries make sense.
If you could make a War Games/Blood and Guts team, WWE vs AEW, who would you have on both teams (current wrestlers only)?
My WWE team would be Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins versus Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, Claudio, and Warlord.
With Kip Sabian constantly lurking in the shadows and becoming
more and more prominent, who do you think will be his first feud when he returns? Could it be Pac for the All Atlantic Title?
While Kip versus Pac would be one hell of a good match and fun to see, I think it would make more sense to have Kip’s first feud back be with Miro. Didn’t they have some unsettled business when Kip went out with the injuries? Kip lending a hand to Ricky Starks versus Powerhouse Hobbs would be a good way to get started again as well. The title shots and hopefully as you suggested, a match against Pac, will come soon enough. I think he needs to get his feet wet with some revenge feuds first before going after gold.
Who would win in a shoot fight in their prime: Ken Shamrock or Steve Blackman?
As much respect as I have for Ken Shamrock, I’ve heard way too many stories about Steve Blackman and how truly devastating he can be when provoked. My money would be on The Lethal Weapon.
Team Vince (Undertaker, Rock, John Cena, Lashley) versus Team Heyman (Cesaro, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, CM Punk) versus Team HHH (Sheamus, Randy Orton, Batista, Seth Rollins). Who wins?
It doesn’t matter which team wins, you can’t go wrong with these three teams. My own personal choices would be Team Heyman, just because of the Brock & Roman combination, but how do you really choose with choices like these? I guess Brock would take Seth to suplex city and then allow him to be nailed by Punk and the GTS to give their team the win. Team Heyman wins.
The Undertaker versus Andre The Giant (in his prime). Who wins?
The WWE version of Andre that we saw in his last run was sad to see and watch and that Andre, the Undertaker would win and win easily. But Andre in his prime, was a huge wrestling machine. The man could even throw a dropkick. In his prime, Andre was definitely The Man! Andre would win.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, take care and be good, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects. I’ll see you at the matches.
