It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.
Earl Hebner feels he belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame. Agree or disagree?
For his role in so many of the great moments of pro wrestling, I would say yes, he definitely deserves a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame, but… what about the counterfeit merchandise that he and brother Dave Hebner were caught selling at a business they owned? That’s some shady business and the reason that he and Dave were fired from the WWE, to begin with. And I think ripping off the company is a legitimate reason to disqualify a person from becoming Employee of the Year or in this case, a member of the Hall of Fame. Actions have consequences so as deserving as Hebner may be due to his wrestling career, the other stuff tends to cancel that out. Does Earl Hebner belong in the WWE Hall of Fame? I would say no.
Who is your favorite Diva?
While I am a fan of many of the women of WWE from the Diva era, such as Victoria, Trish, Lita, Mae Young, etc., my favorite is and will always be Lisa Moretti, aka Ivory.
Crusher Jerry Blackwell versus Omos. Who wins?
Omos is taller while Blackwell was bigger and more mobile than he had any right to be. This would be an interesting and fun match to see. As for who wins, I’d put my money on the man from Stone Mountain, Georgia. Crusher Blackwell wins.
Thoughts on Billy Jack Haynes?
Either he’s crazier than Amber Heard after taking some Ex-lax and laying down in bed or he’s the best worker in history in selling himself and being a character. Regardless of which is the truth, he’s annoying to me and I think he’s just trying and doing anything to try and be relevant. He had a great look back in the day and was actually a decent wrestler, but what he’s become since then is just a sad, demented little man. As I said, I don’t know how much real and how much is work, but I don’t care. Haynes is just someone I have no use or respect for.
Will the Bloodline be the greatest faction ever?
So long as the memories and history of factions such as The Horsemen, The nWo, Degeneration X, Evolution, and Paul Jones’ Army remain, my answer to that has to be nope.
War Games Match: The Bloodline (Roman, The Usos, Sami & Solo Sikoa) w/ Paul Heyman versus Degeneration X (Triple H, HBK, The Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, X-Pac) w/ Chyna. Who wins?
Roman may be the Tribal Chief and Head of the Table, but Triple H, HBK, and Road Dogg are all in management and are the bosses. DX wins and if you’re not down with that, two words for you.
William Regal recently spoke of how good he felt Damien Sandow was and feels he’s “the one that got away”. Agree or disagree?
I’ll agree. Sandow was always entertaining regardless of the role he was given and always went above and beyond. Besides, who am I to argue with William Regal? I absolutely agree.
Do you think Sasha Banks is coming back to the WWE?
If she’s not back now, I don’t think it’s going to happen. Oh well. Bye Felica and good riddance.
Do you think the Teddy Hart documentary sparks a new run for him in WWE since they are listed as Executive Producers?
I think Ryback has a better chance of being brought back and given the WWE Championship, with Enzo Amore as his manager and Sable as his valet before we see Teddy Hart working for the WWE. Teddy is toxic, which is a shame because he’s a talented guy and an entertaining wrestler. It’s just his personal demons and behavior have burned too many bridges and he’ll never be a major player on the big stage again because of that.
Do you think WWE brings back Todd Pettingill ever again on a regular basis?
From what I understand, Pettingill lives in Texas now and I can’t see him wanting to move back to Connecticut anytime soon. Plus, he’s older now and doesn’t really fit the demographic for WWE announcers. I can see him being brought in occasionally for special events and shows, but as a full-time WWE talent, I think that ship has sailed.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, or any questions you may have are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, be safe and watch out for foreign objects. I’ll see you at the matches.
