It’s time to do that thing we do and answer a few questions about the world’s greatest sport. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

Should Wardlow begin to think about taking his talents elsewhere or stick around AEW?

I’m not sure how much time Wardlow has left on his AEW contract, but the easy answer here is that he should do what’s best for Wardlow. If WWE makes a better offer, take it and go to NXT and do your thing, but also listen to Tony, consider all the pros and cons of what he brings to the table with his deal, and follow the best path. WWE has so many talents under contract now, I’m afraid that Wardlow would get lost in the shuffle and end up buried down in NXT for several years, but he’s already had a taste of what AEW has to offer so it’s a tough call. But yes, he should consider all the options available.

Sammy Guevera recently said in an interview that he doesn’t want to work house shows or take bumps when not on television. Thoughts?

As much a fan as I am of Sammy’s, this is an ignorant way of thinking. House shows are all about learning and getting better and if a wrestler wants to truly improve, they need to wrestle as often as possible. House shows do exactly that and help wrestlers learn and get better. Sammy also needs to learn how to work smart and not take all the hard bumps in every match. Less is more and he needs to make the bumps he does take be there for a reason rather than just doing spots to be doing spots. If Sammy ever hopes to go to WWE or be truly recognized as one of the greats, he needs to change that attitude fast. Jim Cornette did a great piece addressing this topic, logically explaining why Sammy needs to smarten up on this subject, and in this case, Cornette is 100% correct. Sammy needs to wise up and listen.

War Games Match: The Enforcers (Larry Zbyszko & Arn Anderson) & The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane) w/ Jim Cornette versus The Bloodline (Jimmy & Jey Uso, Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa) w/ Paul Heyman. Who wins?

As good as The Bloodline are, this match would belong to Larry, Arn, and The Midnight Express, as it should.

Hulk Hogan has said that he thinks The Fabulous Rougeaus, Jacques and Raymond Rougeau, should be inducted into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame. Agree or disagree?

While I agree that The Rougeaus belong at some point in the WWE Hall of Fame and have no problem with their future induction, they only had a three-year or so run as a tag team in the WWE. The Midnight Express was a team for nearly twenty-plus years and should be inducted first. Bobby, Stan, Dennis, and Corny first, and after that, then other teams like The Rougeaus. But Midnights and Ivan Koloff first, as it should be.

Which 3 Wrestlers (dead, living, or active) would you pick to train you if you were starting your career?

Ole Anderson, Harley Race, and Jim Cornette.

Let’s say you get to build your roster (choosing from any promotion). You can have 6 tag teams, 8 solo men, 8 solo women, two commentators, and a ring announcer. Who are you going with?

I assume that we’re only talking about active/current wrestlers, right? Right off the top of my head, my six tag teams would be Heath & Rhino, Matt Cardona & Brian Meyers, The Atlantic Coast Destruction Crew (Ethan Storm & Taz Jackson), Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode, Sammy Love & Nathan Cross, and FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler). My eight solo men would CM Punk, Kenny Omega, Kevin Owens, MJF, Seth Rollins, GUNTHER, Alan Angels, and Drew McIntyre. My eight solo women would be Asuka, Charlotte Flair, Tessa Blanchard, Bayley, Chelsea Green, Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, and Piper Niven. My two commentators would be Michael Cole & Dutch Mantell. And finally, my ring announcer would be The Fallen Artist, Derk Douglas. And my promotion? It would be AWESOME!

How would you rank The Pinnacle as a faction?

The Pinnacle was, for those who can’t remember, a short-lived faction in AEW consisting of FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), Shawn Spears, Wardlow, Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF), and Tully Blanchard. Look at those names. How could this group not succeed, right? But it was AEW and aside from a short feud with the Inner Circle, never did much or was used properly. It was a group designed to help get MJF over and had all the potential in the world, but was quietly disbanded almost as soon as it began. I’d rank them on paper as being a potentially dominating faction that could have been used to build around and make big money for the AEW product, but in reality, just another example of an incompetent booker and a big, “What if?”.

Bobby Lashley says he wants to Team up with Brock Lesnar now to form a modern-day version of The Road Warriors. Thoughts?

This would be fun to watch happen. The only question is what kind of chemistry would they have together and who could beat them? I can’t see their characters meshing as a team, but so far as the pure physicality of the two men, they would be an imposing and dominant force. I’d like to see this team happen just to see where it goes. It could be fun.

Better Iron Man Match: Bryan Danielson versus MJF or HBK versus Bret Hart?

Bret and Shawn Michaels wrestled at Wrestlemania 12 against each other in an Iron Match Match, while Danielson and MJF fought a few weeks ago at AEW Revolution. And the better match? Bret and Shawn set the bar with their match, but Danielson and MJF took that bar and raised it a few notches with their match. The in-ring chemistry and flow were better with Danielson and Max. Both were/are excellent matches, but I have to go with The American Dragon and Max for this one.

The Bella Twins have quit WWE and changed their names. Thoughts?

Honestly, I thought that they had already left the WWE a couple of years ago, but it is what it is. Nikki and Brie are now using their real names, the Garcia Twins, and are moving on from WWE. Good luck and much success to them in the future. WWE has moved on and has other stars to promote now. I suspect that we’ll see The Twins and WWE working together again at some point though. Life goes on and everyone has a path to follow. The Twins are just following theirs.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are appreciated. Talk to me, my Peeps. And with that, it’s time to wrap this baby up and put it to bed. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
