Ric Flair recently said that WWE was wrong to put Sami & KO versus The Usos as the main event of Mania Night One instead of Charlotte versus Rhea. Thoughts?

Of course, Ric is going to say that. While admittingly the Rhea/Charlotte match was arguably the best match of the night, the Sami & KO versus The Bloodline match had the best story behind it and build and deserved to be in that top spot. Ric though is always going to say that his daughter deserves the top spot regardless of who else is on the card. Ric is just being a good daddy.

Flair has also recently said that he doesn’t understand why WWE was upset with his speech to induct The Great Muta into the HOF and that 99% of the fans didn’t know who The Great Muta was. Thoughts?

Implying that no one knows Muta is insulting to Muta and wrestling fans worldwide. WWE is upset because Ric mentioned Sting, talked mainly about himself, and Muta seemed more of an afterthought than a person being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Also, I think Ric may have been slightly intoxicated which is not a good thing either. Of course with Ric, it’s hard to tell, but his speech was a mess. It made me long for Mr. T to talk about his mother and for Zbyszko to talk about Bruno. It was that bad!

Do you think David Arquette will ever be inducted into the Celebrity Wing of the WWE Hall of Fame?

I don’t know if he ever will or not, but I hope so. Of all the celebrities that have gotten involved with wrestling over the years, he’s one of the good ones. Also, I think an Arquette match with The Miz would be fun to see, as a guilty pleasure of course.

Should Nia Jax & Tamina be brought in as part of The Bloodline?

If either of those two were going to be brought in as part of the Bloodline, it would have already happened. If we ever get a Bloodline versus The Judgement Day feud, they could use either Woman or perhaps Ava Raine as a counter to Rhea Ripley, but except for that possibility, I can’t see them being added to the group.

AEW is going to Wembley Stadium. What should be the main event?

Dax Harwood and Jim Cornette have both spoken on it already and it’s a no-brainer. The Elite versus CM Punk & FTR.

Would you like to see AEW or WWE bring Buff Bagwell in as a manager or commentator?

Buff is likable and has a great presence about him, plus he’s a good talker. If he ever manages to get his demons under control and can be reliable and trusted, I think he’d make a great manager or commentator. He’s got the personality and name value and once he gets his life straight, it’s a great path of redemption for Bagwell.

Which current WWE or AEW superstar do you think has the best chance of becoming the next Hollywood superstar?

Whenever Miz leaves pro wrestling, he’s going to be a big name in Hollywood. Of that, I have no doubts. I think Dolph Ziggler could have a good career in movies or TV as well. He’s a natural.

Bray Wyatt has been back in WWE for six months. What letter grade would you give his run so far?

His feud with LA Knight was disappointing and then vanishing and missing Wrestlemania. Wyatt’s career is on a major downward spiral and it doesn’t seem like it will get any better anytime soon. I’d give his run thus far a big old “D”.

Thoughts on Alicia Fox?

I liked Alicia and always found her entertaining. She was not a great performer, but she was competent in the ring and was a fun character. She has the “It” factor. She would make a good valet or manager if needed, only taking the occasional bump. I’d be interested in seeing her return to wrestling at some point. Saraya recently stated that Alicia was very underrated and I’m inclined to agree.

Roman Reigns versus Barry Windham. Who wins?

Barry in his prime against the Roman of today would be an excellent match and it could easily go either way. They match up well in size and speed and it would be an instant classic. I think Roman would end up with the win.
