It’s tax day so unless you want Irwin R. Schyster to show up at your home with Repo Man, make sure that you pay those taxes. Oh, wait, the deadline has been extended to April 18th. Never mind. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

Logan Paul wants to win a title in WWE. What title should he be challenging for?

I would love to see Logan Paul and Gunther slug it out and fight over the Intercontinental Championship, but I have a feeling that The Ring General might be too much for Paul to handle. If I was booking WWE and wanted to put Paul in contention for a title, I think the best option right now would be Austin Theory and that United States Championship. Either the U.S. belt or maybe King of the Ring.

Would you want to see Edge in AEW?

I’ve seen where people are speculating that Edge may retire from WWE again at SummerSlam after his contract expires and then show up in AEW to reunite with his best friend, Christian. Would I like to see it? To see Edge and Christian together giving The Young Bucks, The Gunn Club, or the Acclaimed some wrestling lessons would be awesome. Will it happen? No, I don’t think so. If we ever do get a reunion of Edge & Christian in that ring, I think it will be in WWE after Christian’s AEW contract expires and he’s gearing up for his well-deserved induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. So it’ll probably happen, but we’ll have to wait a while to see the Magic that reeks of Awesomeness back in that squared circle.

WWE has dropped the “King & Queen of the Ring” name for the upcoming Saudi show and is now calling it “Night of Champions”. Thoughts?

I can see where having “Kings & Queens” crowned at an event being held in Saudi Arabia might ruffle a few feathers and not go over very well. This was a practical decision, in part to honor Roman celebrating 1000 days as Champion, so why hold tournaments that may overshadow our Tribal Chief? I haven’t seen anything yet, but the KOTR and QOTR tournaments are better suited for RAW and Smackdown anyhow and hopefully, that’s how WWE will book them at a future date.

Kenny Omega is allegedly working in AEW without a contract right now. Do you think he’ll be jumping ship and going to WWE?

I think Kenny will weigh his options, look at the money and work schedules presented to him, decide what’s best for his career and family, and make the appropriate decision. Yeah, he’s going to go to WWE.

Did you notice AEW announced a return to Chicago? A CM Punk return perhaps?

If Punk is coming back and they want to re-debut him to the best possible audience and get the biggest reaction, Chicago would most certainly be the best place to do it. Will it happen? We’ll just have to wait and see, but all the speculation seems to think so.

Marina Shafir believes she can help AEW’s women’s division. Thoughts?

Who? I saw this and that was my first response, as I’m sure it’s the first response for many others as well. I googled her name and I’m still not sure who she’s supposed to be. Maybe she can help and make AEW a stronger place for the Women’s Division or maybe she’ll just get lost in the shuffle and become a regular fixture on AEW Dark. Who knows? As I said in the previous question, I’ll say it here too. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Scott Steiner versus Crusher Jerry Blackwell. Who wins?

At first, this looks like an easy squash for Steiner, but Blackwell was not a man to be underestimated. The man was well over 400 pounds and could do a picture-perfect dropkick. He was deceptively strong and was far faster than one would expect from a man of that size. I still think Steiner would win the match, but the big, bad Booty Daddy would know he’d been in a tough match and I can also promise you that Steiner wouldn’t be taking any liberties in this match with his opponent. Blackwell wouldn’t stand for it and if Steiner got too reckless, he would be put into his place rather quickly.

Rey Mysterio wants to do a Mask vs. Hair match to end his feud with Dominik. Good idea or not?

Sounds good to me. Book it, Triple H.

The Cavinder Twins, Haley & Hanna, might be coming to WWE. Thoughts?

Just like Marina Shafir, I had to go to Google again to find out who these ladies are, but unlike Shafir, I can understand why this is news. Both of the Twins are accomplished college basketball players with a media presence who were part of the WWE’s Next In Line program. Two good-looking, athletic, charismatic women wanting to be part of WWE. I can understand the interests, and with The Bella Twins taking their “empire” to other pastures, there is a void that Haley & Hanna could most definitely fill. It’ll be interesting to see how this all develops, but so far as recruits for the future of WWE go, these look like they could be two good ones. Will there be an updated Twin Magic in the future? We’ll just have to wait and see, but it looks good at the moment.

Mickie James relinquished her Impact Wrestling Knockout’s Championship, leaving the belt and her hat in the ring. Is this the end of the line for Mickie? Thoughts?

Mickie is getting older, is the mother of a growing daughter, and has been doing this a long time so the thoughts of calling it a day in the ring have to be going through her head and weighing on her mind. I feel that she has one more good run left in her and would love to see her back in WWE taking on Charlotte, Rhea, and Bianca, but if that’s not the case, so be it. Only Mickie, and perhaps her husband Nick Aldis, know for sure what the future holds for Pure Country, but whatever she decides, best of luck and wishes to her. She deserves it.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
