Let’s talk wrestling. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s go.

According to Chris Jericho, Hulk Hogan is a better worker than Ric Flair. Thoughts?

Jericho is entitled to his opinion, but in this case, I think he probably has been sipping on a little too much of the Bubbly. Let’s see Hogan get a sixty-minute match out of Rufus R. Jones. Flair did. So obviously, I don’t agree.

If WWE doesn’t sign him, it would be cool to see Carlito with Primo and Epico in the AEW Trios division. Thoughts?

That would be… cool!

Mike Awesome versus Drew McIntyre. Who wins?

With similar moves, bodies, and looks, this would be a damn good match for the ages. I like Drew, but Awesome in his prime was… well, the name fits. I think Awesome should win.

Kamille just passed 700 days as the NWA Women’sChampion. Who do you think will be the one to end her reign as champion?

Kamille is a good wrestler and that reign of almost two years is something to be proud of. Whoever manages to take that title from her will be making history and getting a great rub as a result. As to who that may be, I have no idea, but I can see Deonna Purrazzo being a strong possibility.

Former WWE talent Alicia Fox recently teased an appearance at the upcoming AEW Forbidden Door PPV. Would you like to see Alicia return to the ring?

I’ve always liked Alicia Fox and she had a fun character, but if she was to return, it wouldn’t make a difference in AEW or help the product. She’s a fun character, but not much more than that, and in a matter of weeks if she did show up at AEW, she’d be lost in the shuffle and forgotten. Just to get a good paycheck, I’m all for Alicia returning to the ring, but it wouldn’t be a big deal in the big picture of things.

If you could interview any wrestler, alive or dead, for one hour, who would it be?

It’s a tough call because there are so many wrestlers that I’ve admired and respected over the years, choosing just one for an interview is next to possible. Let’s go with Harley Race for this one.

You’ve been jumped by The Judgement Day. To get revenge, you can recruit any four wrestlers (three men, one woman) to fight The Judgement Day in a War Games match. The only catch is that they have to be either WWE or Independent Wrestlers and can’t be under contract to any of the major promotions. Who would you get?

I’d go local and recruit two men I know well from here in North Carolina, The Atlantic Coast Destruction Crew (AC/DC), aka Ethan Storm & Taz Jackson, along with the King of Indy Wrestling, Matt Cardona. As for my female to take on Rhea Ripley, WWE legend Lisa Marie Varon, aka Victoria. And let the battles begin.

Larry Zbyszko versus The Miz. Who would get more boos from the crowd and who would win?

As a true living legend, Larry tends to get more cheers these days than boos regardless of what he decides to do, so Miz would get more boos. And Larry would win because Miz would insist on doing the honors.

Is it wrong that I’m using Bad Bunny as bait to make my non-wrestling friends watch Backlash? A lot of my friends love him.

Bringing in people like Bad Bunny was done just for that reason, to attract new fans and put eyes on the WWE that would normally never watch wrestling. It’s not wrong at all. You’re doing exactly what WWE was hoping you would do.

Do you have a guess on who Owens and Zayn will drop the tag belts to in the next week or so?

I get why you’re asking since the Saudi show, the Night of Champions is coming up and neither Sami nor Owens make that trip or participate in any events in Saudi Arabia. But they’re still the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions and at an event called Night of Champions, they’re expected to appear and defend their titles, right? This puts WWE in a bit of a bind, but I still don’t see Sami & KO losing the belts yet. I expect that, for this show, WWE will simply just forget about the tag team belts and load the rest of the show up with so many other things that no one will notice or else do an injury angle so there is a reason for Sami & KO to not be there. But as for new champions this soon into the KO/Sami reign? I don’t think so.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, let’s close up shop. I have to go to work now. Take care and stay well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
